The location is good with many shops and restaurants nearby. However, the service is horrible. There is never anyone in the bar when you want to order a drink. Plus, the wait staff in the restaurant are very RUDE! I went down for breakfast and choose a table set for one, since I was eating alone. It’s open seating and there is no one to direct you where to sit. Halfway thru my breakfast, a male waiter came up to me and said I was not supposed to sit there because that table was reserved for an older couple, not someone my age. There was no “Reserved” sign on the table and no indication it was for a couple as there was only 1 place settting. He told me not to sit there again. I was in shock! In the States, if a table is reserved, it is marked with a sign. There are 100 more professional ways he couple have dealt with the situation but he chose to be rude! I will never come back to this hotel!

Travelling with my family, we got booked into triple room for 1 night. Room was big enough for the three of us. Located very close to the centre, we were 5 minutes stroll away from main attractions. The room’s old air conditioning system was not working, spewing hot air. I asked at the reception to look into it. When we returned to the room at 10pm, the room was very hot and no joy with the air conditioning. I asked at the reception, and a lady came up, checked the settings, concluded it was not working and offered a fan. She came back with 2 fans barely working and making no difference. She offered another room. We packed our things and started moving to room one floor up. The new room had issue with electricity and the air conditioning was also not working. The switch that took the card was broken and switching electricity off every 2-3 minutes. It gave my daughter a scare when we left her in the room to collect bags from the first room. Went to the reception to report issue and was complained about the fact that the lady was alone, very busy and told us to go to sleep if electricity is off. When I explained that we need electricity to take shower and get ready for bed, she offered showering in the first room and sleeping in the second. So, I moved the luggage again, back to the first room and settled on it at midnight. Was simply to tired to argue. Attached is a photo of the “air conditioning “ we were left with in the hot South of France during heatwave and wildfires. Not “cool” from a 4 star hotel. Rooms are basic but would benefit from some updating. Looks like hotel is stuck in the past. Disappointed

Perfectly located in the heart of Lourdes. 5-10 mins walk to the grotto and cathedral. Surrounded by shops, bistros and restaurants. Rooms are very basic, but clean. Breakfast buffet overseeable. Lunch and Dinner very recommendable compared with other hotels and restaurants in downtown. Best cousine in town. Nice rooftop terrace with view on the castle and mountains unfortunately no service on terrace!
